As Chair of the RIPS-SIS Research Instruction Committee, it is my pleasure to announce the availability of a new resource for RIPS-SIS members and the AALL community: the “Legal Research Article Summaries” collection. Similar to the legal research text reviews that our Committee is known for, the article summaries provide a brief overview of select articles that discuss the following instruction-related topics: advanced and subject-specific legal research instruction, artificial intelligence and legal analytics, course creation and design, diversity, legal research instruction for 1Ls, surveys & empirical research, teaching LL.M and non-JD students, and working with external stakeholders. The page can be found at https://www.aallnet.org/ripssis/resources-publications/legal-research-article-summaries/.
We invite you to review these summaries. The Committee will continue to produce these this year, in addition to the legal research text reviews. Many thanks to Taryn Marks, last year’s Chair, under whose leadership this project was started.
