Lifehacker provides access to both the useful and the silly stuff we use…or perhaps don’t yet know we need to use. A few recent posts included: an application for the iPhone that allows the user to report to AT&T exactly where their call was dropped; a complete guide to avoiding online scams (for your less savvy friends and relatives); and the five best outlining tools.
In November, Lifehacker highlighted the best screencasting tools for both Macs and PCs. The review included tools that are freely accessible as well as those which require a fee. It’s so much easier to explain how to do something when you are able to “show & tell” the technique.
I work at a state law library but am allowed use of the state library’s technology so I am able to use Camtasia…yup – clearly the best way to go if you can!
