I like small amounts of tech information at a time…probably because then I can immediately add it to my repertoire and not forget it! I get my fix by reading Heidi Yelk’s Tech Tip in Brief column from WSLL@your service, the newsletter from the Wisconsin Law Library. The tip for September was a suggestion for using the scroll wheel on your mouse. If you’re using a tabbed browser and you have a scroll wheel, you can use it to click the scroll wheel on a link and it will open in another tab.
The topics have covered Zooming in on Webpage Content, an explanation of Twitter and how lawyers might use it, a quick review of Netbooks, and links and information about a free PDF annotator tool.
Short and sweet (or short and useful)- that’s what I like for tech tips!
