Constitution Day
Today is Constitution Day. The National Constitution Center website states: On September 17, 1787, the United States Constitution was signed by thirty-nine brave men who changed the course of history.
The website provides an interactive timeline that highlights some of the key dates and events that mark more than 200 years of constitutional history. Visitors can browse through a collection of images, audio and video clips, and interactive content and explore some of the people, events, and issues that have shaped the Constitution and the history of our nation.
The National Archives provides information about activities that can assist with teaching and learning about our Constitution. It also provides access to an online version of a Constitution Day Workshop. T
